Master Lalla GAKOU, Lawyer at the Bar of Mali, is the firm’s managing partner and head of the Corporate Department.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Taxation from Jean Moulin University in Lyon, France.
She also holds a degree in Law and Political Science from Sophia Antipolis University in Nice, France.
She was a prizewinner in the competition organized by Editions Francis Lefebvre in partnership with the Master of Law and Financial Engineering of the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3, which rewards the university’s ten (10) best students in corporate taxation.
Having been sworn in in 2014, Lalla GAKOU won first (1st) prize in the eloquence competition organized by the Mali Bar Association and was thus appointed secretary of the Mali Bar internship conference in charge of legal aid.
She also won the jury’s special prize in the pleading competition organized by the International Conference of Bars and Law Societies (CIB) (30th congress).
Involved in legal association life, Lalla GAKOU was secretary in charge of external relations of the Association of Young Lawyers of Mali (AJAM) and administrator in charge of communication of the Association of Malian Jurists (AJM).
She is member of the Council of the Mali Bar Association and chairs the Organization Commission.
Before taking her lawyer’s oath, Lalla GAKOU worked as a legal manager for energy and insurance companies.
